You have to look close to get the point of this picture but it is the first time I can recall that my name appears on a church calendar!
Yes, there are places to walk near our home that actually are very reminiscent of the campus of Wildwood. Here, we are standing by a fine Beech tree.
As predicted, it has been snowing since around 11 am. today, December 2, 2019. The storm appears to be ending. This is our first major snow of the season here in Staten Island.
Last Sunday, November 23, 2019, we prepared some gift loaves of bread for our neighbors. Here Alberta is mixing the dough.

We visited with Sr Thelma over the fellowship meal at Manor Road on Sabbath. She has come back to the Remnant Church after 40 years of being out. She is a diligent worker for Jesus. Her restoration was in answer to her mother's prayers.
Brenda came to the prayer vigil and really caught our attention when she said that she was one of the people we had called years ago in our Staten Island phone ministry!
This is a styrofoam tombstone that was purchased at the Dollar Tree. It has been adapted to speak truth to the people who visit our street on Halloween. Please pray that they will see it and think of its implications.
Here is the banner we have ordered for our health seminar scheduled for Sunday, November 17.
This is the renowned icon of freedom that can be seen from the Staten Island Ferry from which we took this picture. The Statue of Liberty stands for one of the most important and costly legacies which every American holds in trust.

Here are my hosts during our series here at Manhattan in 2011, Ricardo and Oksana Cabrero and their little girl Daria. In the neighborhood, these types of decorations are pretty common. People really go all out for Halloween.
Yes, there are turkeys--wild turkeys--in Staten Island. Maybe these were some very tame, wild turkeys. We don't know. They were walking on a public street near a hospital.
This is one section of our area. There are hundreds of homes here. We are making this the focus of our Home to Home visitation and distribution of Discover Bible Study Invitations. Please pray for this territory!

Pinky, our cat, is belwildered by it all and senses, perhaps, that something ominous is happening. Thankfully our friends, Emily and the Stapletons have agreed to take care of her until her permanent owners arrive later this year. We will miss her.

Wildwood Departure Gathering on Thursday, August 29, 2019. There were a number of our young friends there.
Here we are at this same departure gathering Aug 25, 2019. We were surprised to see our dear friend Rita Vital arrive to enjoy the occasion with us. The Lord used Rita some 50 years ago to bring Alberta and her late mother Carmen Birge to come into the Adventist faith. What a blessing they all have been.
Here we are at the home of Daisy and Chris Ostrowicki, two of our dear friends. Beside us here are Mary Fisher (L) and Annie Walsh (R) with Daisy beside Steve.

Moving is not easy…on the back or on the mind.
Moving is about letting go of some things for the sake of taking hold of more important things.
